THANK YOU

There is no poem for this page...
No words seem to represent exactly
what I am feeling. Anyways,I don't
think any words would be enough
to say thank you.

We have spent many hours talking.
Our friendship developed into love.

You have shared stories of bravery,
stories of terror,stories of friendship,
stories of pain.We have laughed, and we
have broke down and cried together.
We cried for friends, some who are gone,
some who will live on forever.
We weep for those who do not receive
the recognition they so deeply deserve.

I have nervously asked you questions,
and you answered them. Some of them
evoke memories that are very painful
for you to think about, yet you share
them with me,none the less.
I just want to hold you tight,
and make the nightmares go away.
To take away your pain...
But nothing will make it go away.

  You have given me love,happiness,
and friendship.You have also
given me a new respect and
admiration for all those who have
fought for freedom.
It is because of your love,
that I say "THANK YOU"
not only to you,but to all the
American Veterans.

This page is dedicated to the sailors,
the lovers,the soldiers,my brothers,the heroes,
and all men and women who have fought, served,
and paid the ultimate price for
the freedoms we all enjoy as Americans today...

THANK A VET NOW

Please take a few moments to thank
our American Veterans
many of which have yet to hear those
two little words that mean so much.
